Terms & Conditions

Last updated 6 August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

VeriLens (“the Service”) is operated by Swes (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, uploading media, or purchasing a plan you enter into an agreement with Swes.

2. Acceptance

By continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you are using VeriLens on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

3. What the Service does

VeriLens analyses images and video frames you upload and returns a probabilistic assessment of whether the media appears authentic, edited, or AI-generated, together with the forensic signals behind that assessment.

4. Accuracy and acceptable reliance

Results are generated by automated models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are indicative only. VeriLens output is not forensic evidence, legal advice, or a professional determination, and must not be used as the sole basis for decisions with legal, journalistic, employment, safety, or reputational consequences without independent human review.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to spam;
  • upload media you have no right to process, or content that is unlawful, sexualised imagery of minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • use results to harass, defame, or wrongfully accuse a person, or to help create or refine deceptive synthetic media;
  • infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • interfere with the security of the Service — no malware, probing, scraping, rate-limit circumvention, reverse engineering, or resale of the Service;
  • attempt to bypass plan limits or quota enforcement.

You are responsible for the media and prompts you submit, for verifying results, and for how you act on them.

6. Your content and rights

You keep all rights in the media you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that media solely to deliver the analysis you requested. Rights-holders who believe content processed through the Service infringes their rights may contact us to request removal; repeated or serious infringement leads to account termination.

7. Our intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service, its software, models, documentation and branding. Your plan grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the limits of that plan.

8. Service level

We work to keep VeriLens available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Payment, subscriptions and taxes

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by our reseller’s Paddle Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination your access ends and stored analysis history may be deleted.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude indirect, consequential and special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You indemnify us against claims arising from media you upload, unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Swes is established, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. Questions: contact us through the address published on our site.
